The following lane closures on FM 2499 are scheduled as part of the ongoing TxDOT DFW Connector Project to allow crews to complete construction on the new, lowered northbound FM 2499 mainlanes:
• FULL HIGHWAY CLOSURE, SOUTHBOUND FM 2499 AT DENTON CREEK: From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, March 14 – 16. Traffic will be detoured to the southbound FM 2499 frontage road.
• STARS AND STRIPES WAY BRIDGE: From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, March 14 – 16.
• GRAPEVINE MILLS BLVD. BRIDGE: From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, March 17 – 18.
• LANE CLOSURE, NORTHBOUND FM 2499, FROM HWY 121 to RIVERWALK DRIVE: From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on March 18. Left lane closed on northbound FM 2499 for barrier and pavement work. One right lane will remain open.
• FULL HIGHWAY CLOSURE, NORTHBOUND FM 2499, FROM HWY 121 to RIVERWALK DRIVE: From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on March 22 to open the new northbound FM 2499 mainlanes. Click here for a detour map. The new lanes should be open on March 23. Click here for a graphic of the new traffic pattern.
• FULL CLOSURE, NORTHBOUND FM 2499 FRONTAGE ROAD AT GRAPEVINE MILLS: From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. on March 23. Full closure of the northbound FM 2499 frontage road at Grapevine Mills Blvd. to finish work on the traffic pattern change. Traffic will be encouraged to use the new northbound FM 2499 lanes.
