As an upper level low and surface cold front move through the region, there will be widespread rain and scattered thunderstorms across Denton County on Tuesday.
Rainfall amounts will range from around 1 inch across the west to over 2 inches east of I-35. The heavy rain may result in localized flooding. Some minor river flooding is also possible.
A Wind Advisory is in effect from noon Tuesday through Wednesday morning as north and northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected. Some wind gusts over 40 mph are likely. Wind chills during the afternoon will be in the low 30’s.
