The community singing group, the Voices of Flower Mound (VOFM), under the direction of Mary McGuyer and accompanied by Dr. Migeun Chung, will present its “Seasons of Love” spring concert this Saturday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.

The program includes popular songs made famous by such artists as the Beatles, Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley, as well as selections from “Les Miserables.” In addition, the Flower Mound Symphony Jazz Ensemble will be featured during the concert.

The VOFM, a community chorus of area men and women, was founded 10-years ago. In addition to its regular concerts, the VOFM performs with the Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church choir and the Flower Mound Symphony Orchestra in both an annual patriotic concert and a Christmas concert with presentations of Mozart’s Requiem Mass and Handel’s Messiah.

The chorus participates with several area churches and community choruses in the annual “Rejoice” concert to raise money for the Christian Community Action organization.

The Spring Concert will be held in the sanctuary of the Flower Mound Community Church, 3515 Cross Timbers Rd., which is located on the south side of the intersection of Glenwick Blvd. and Cross Timbers Rd. (FM 1171).
