Highland Village police report burglarized and stolen vehicles

Highland Village HVPDThree vehicles in the past month have been stolen from Highland Village homes and many others burglarized, according to the Highland Village Police Department.

All vehicles stolen have been recovered in Lewisville and Dallas.

Detectives have made two arrests in these cases and are seeking a third suspect.

The vehicles burglarized were left unlocked and those stolen had the keys left inside while parked at their residence, police said.

Highland Village officers have been increasing patrols and crime prevention efforts.

– Lock Your Car
– Take Your Keys
– Remove Your Valuables
– Garage Your Car Whenever Possible
– Keep Your Garage Door Closed!
– Have Good Exterior Lighting
– Consider a home and vehicle alarm system
– Consider a home security camera system
