Flower Mound seeking ideas for park

The Flower Mound Parks, Arts, and Library Services (PALS) Board is seeking residents’ opinions regarding future amenities and their placement in Heritage Park during a public meeting on Thursday, June 5, at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 2121 Cross Timbers Rd.

During the meeting, three conceptual plans will be presented and discussed, in addition to a public participation portion, which will help further develop the overall master planning for Heritage Park.

The three conceptual designs were developed from input received at the previous Community Outreach meeting held at the park on March 22.

Heritage Park, located at the intersection of Spinks Road and Garden Ridge Boulevard, is the Town’s signature 94-acre park and home to the community-built playground Fort Wildflower, multi-purpose trails, a pavilion and restroom facility.

Heritage Park will be the future home of the town’s first dog park.
