Flower Mound police are asking for help with identifying a man and a woman suspected of shoplifting at a grocery store.
The incident occurred at the Tom Thumb on Flower Mound Road on March 11 at 3:45 p.m.
According to a police report, the store’s loss prevention officer spotted the woman in the above photo placing baby formula and hair care products valued at $177 in her purse.
When the officer attempted to confront the woman, she took off towards the exit so fast that the sliding doors did not have time to fully open and she ran into them, dropping her keys in the process.
The male suspect pictured behind the woman blocked the officer while the woman picked up her keys and the pair drove off northbound on FM 2499 in a red Chevy Aveo sedan with temporary tags.
The woman was described as being between 30 to 35 years old, 5-feet tall, with brown hair and wearing a pink hoody, blue jeans, and black shoes. The man was described as 30 to 35 years old, 6-feet tall, with shoulder-length brown hair and wearing a red t-shirt with a blue hoody, black jeans and white shoes.
