Children from Highland Village Elementary School helped usher in the holiday spirit Tuesday night at The Shops at Highland Village during the annual Our Village Glows event organized by the Highland Village Women’s Club. Thousands of area residents were on hand to witness the lighting of a 54-foot Christmas tree and kids lined up to bend Santa’s ear.
If you missed the fun, have no fear. Two more local tree-lighting events are planned for next week.
The Town of Argyle will hold their Christmas tree-lighting on Monday, Dec. 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the Argyle Intermediate School Cafeteria, 800 Eagle Dr.
Double Oak has scheduled their annual tree-lighting ceremony for Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 p.m. in J.B. Wright Park next to Town Hall, 320 Waketon Rd.
