Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre will present an all youth production of ‘You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown’ July 28–30.
Directed by Eric Domuret, the play is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz with book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner.
Though considered a “good man” by his friends, Charlie Brown can’t seem to win the heart of the Little Red-Haired Girl, nor can his friend Lucy with her crush on the piano-playing Schroeder.
Meanwhile Snoopy and Linus daydream and the rest of the friends battle with kites, school, baseball and misunderstandings before finally coming to realize what makes them truly happy.
Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre is located at 830 Parker Square. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at www.fmpat.org. All performances are at 7:30pm. Discounts are available for students, seniors and groups. For more information, call the box office at 972-724-2147.
