Highland Village Assistant Fire Chief Jason Collier was appointed to the Texas Commission on Fire Protection’s Firefighter Advisory Committee.
The nine member committee assists the Governor’s appointed commission in drafting and reviewing the administrative rules that govern the state’s fire service relating to fire protection personnel, fire departments, and other firefighting organizations that are subject to regulation under the authority of the Commission.
“The council and I congratulate Chief Collier,” said Highland Village Mayor Scott McDearmont. “This appointment is further testimony to the quality and qualifications Chief Collier brings to the Highland Village Fire Department.”
