Keyes to Keynote GOP event
Activist, author and former diplomat, Alan Keyes, will be the featured speaker at the Denton County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln-Reagan dinner on Saturday, Feb. 26, at the DFW Hyatt Regency Hotel. Highlights of the event will include a live auction featuring jewelry, gourmet dinners, and other unique items plus a silent auction filled with political memorabilia as well a wide variety of other items. Discover the Treasure of Learning
In honor of National Literacy Month, Wonderland Montessori Academy is organizing a Book Fair and Family Fun Night in March that will benefit the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation. The three day book fair will run March 23-25 from 10am until 6pm daily.  A Family Fun Night on March 25 from 4-7pm will include games, activities, refreshments, visits with local authors and more. Don’t Brush Off This Opportunity
Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint?  Then make plans to attend an Oil Painting Class on Feb. 22 from 10am to 2pm at the Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road in Flower Mound. Students Asked to Talk Trash 
Area high school seniors who care about the environment have the chance to win a college scholarship. The 8th annual Don’t Mess with Texas Scholarship, sponsored by Dow Chemical Company in partnership with Keep Texas Beautiful, is accepting essays through March 28.
