12:13 a.m. 100 blk. Whispering Oaks Dr. – Assist Agency – Highland Village Police Department asked for assistance in locating a yellow Camaro and a blue Mustang. Officer was unable to locate vehicles.
2:35 p.m. 100 blk. Fox Trot Ln. – Credit / Debit Card Abuse Against Elderly – An elderly Double Oak Citizen had their debit and credit card used without permission to purchase alcohol at various area bars. Offense is currently under investigation.
December 5
1:56 a.m. 100 blk. Wolf Run, Bartonville – Assist Agency – A Double Oak Officer assisted Bartonville PD on a Prowler Call.
December 7
4:20 p.m. 300 blk. Brown Cliff Ct. – Assault – A Double Oak citizen reported being assaulted by a neighbor. A misdemeanor citation was issued.
8:48 p.m. 100 blk. Fox Trot – Suspicious Activity – A concerned citizen reported three males on foot near the entrance of Taylor Oaks. Officer was unable to locate any suspects.
9:35 p.m. 100 blk. Hollow Oak Ct. – Animal Complaint – Officer responded to a report of skunk in kitchen. Upon arrival the skunk was located and Animal Control was contacted to remove the skunk.
December 8
8:39 a.m. 300 blk. E. Carruth Ln. – Parking Complaint – Reporting Officer spoke with homeowners about parking on the street.
December 9
4:00 p.m. 500 blk. Simmons Rd. – Disturbance – Officers responded to a fight in progress call between a bicyclist and the driver of a pickup truck. Disturbance had been ongoing from Copper Canyon Rd. and FM 407 to the intersection of Simmons and Cross Timbers. Citations for fighting in public were issued to both adult males.
December 10
5:26 p.m. 100 blk. Lantana Trail – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer was dispatched to assist Denton County Sheriff’s Office regarding a road rage incident. Officer was unable to locate involved parties.
11:44 p.m. 100 blk. Lake Trail Dr. – Suspicious Activity – Officer found a parked vehicle with it’s lights out and two male occupants. The vehicle passenger was issued a citation to appear in court for possession of drug paraphernalia.
December 11
5:30 p.m. 200 blk. Simmons Rd. – Theft – A Double Oak resident wanted to report that her pink flamingo was missing from the yard.
December 12
1:48 a.m. 400 blk. S. 377 – Assist Agency – A Double Oak Officer assisted Argyle with a suspicious vehicle call. No action was taken.
7:44 a.m. 6000 blk. Pepperport Ln. – Welfare Concern – Officer checked on the welfare of a resident per third party request.
12:37 p.m. 300 blk. Green Oaks Dr., Bartonville – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Bartonville PD with a Burglary in Progress Call. Officers arrived on scene, searched the residence and were unable to locate a suspect.
12:57 p.m. 1000 blk. FM 407 W., Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak PD assisted Argyle with traffic control at the scene of a major accident.
