Lantana Ladies hit the runway

New York has their Fashion Week, and the ladies of Lantana had their Fashion Night.  Belk’s spring collection was unveiled last week with models from the Lantana Ladies League.  Bright colors, flirty dresses and dazzling heels set the scene on the runway, along with sparkling chocolate diamond rings and pendants.

“It was awesome! I modeled some adorable clothes that I didn’t even know Belk carried! It’s my new favorite place to shop!” said Dana Van Zanten, LLL member, about her modeling experience.

The Fashion Show is an annual event for the league and one of the most popular of the year.  Some of the trends modeled at the show that you’ll catch this season are maxi dresses, floral and tribal prints, cuffed cropped pants and big bags.

“It was fun seeing what’s new this season up close and in person versus in a magazine.” said Thea Wood, an LLL member.

Guests were treated to drinks and a great selection of appetizers from Agave Restaurant.   A special thank you to Joni Thompson, Belk’s Special Event Coordinator, and the entire staff who helped put on a spectacular show.

“The staff at Belk really rolled out the red carpet for us, and we appreciate it. I think just about everyone found a great outfit, bag or shoes they couldn’t live without,” said Marge Bose, LLL Event Coordinator, “I would definitely recommend Belk to any organization planning a special event.”
