02-26-2014  3:00 p.m. – Assist Agency / Disturbance – 6100 blk. Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound – Cover unit for Flower Mound officer conducting an investigation into an assault that had occurred at a business.

02-26-2014  11:50 p.m. – Fire Alarm – 100 blk. Creek Side Dr., Double Oak.

02-27-2014  6:05 p.m. – Social Services – 100 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak.  Patrol officer helped a family move an older citizen from a car into his home.

03-01-2014  9:36 p.m. – Disturbance – 300 blk. Cedarcrest, Double Oak.  Complaint about a party involving underage drinking.  Officers were unable to make contact with occupants.

03-01-2014  9:59 p.m. – Disturbance – 300 blk. Oakview, Double Oak. – Verbal disturbance between grand mother and grand daughter.  Disturbance was quelled when the granddaughter agreed to leave for the night after collecting some personal property and clothing.

03-02-2014  4:49 p.m. – Disturbance – 900 blk. Timber Ridge, Bartonville – Granddaughter was alleged to have broken a window and was outside of residence yelling at occupants.  Suspect left the area prior to officer arrival.

03-03-2014  9:06 p.m. – Disturbance – 100 blk. Maple Leaf Dr., Double Oak – Minor disturbance created by known teenager being in home without permission and getting caught by adults.

03-04-2014  8:09 p.m. – Civil Standby – 300 blk. Oakview Dr., Double Oak – Officers stood by to keep the peace while one of the parties removed clothing and personal items from the home.

03-06-2014  4:50 p.m. – Accident – Justin Rd. and Simmons Rd., Denton County – Assisted State Trooper with traffic control on a motor vehicle collision.

03-07-2014  7:34 a.m. – Assist Motorist – 7700 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – Helped motorist who had high centered their car on the median.

03-07-2014  12:32 p.m. – Fraud – 6000 blk. Plantation, Double Oak – Resident reported an attempted tax return scam received through the U.S. Mail.  An unknown person(s) had sent an official looking document claiming that his tax return had been received.

03-07-2014  3:21 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Fawn Hollow Dr., Denton County.

03-07-2014  7:36 p.m. – Welfare Concern – 100 blk. Forest Park Dr., Double Oak – Concerned party had an officer check on persons they had not seen or been able to contact.

03-08-2014  12:00 a.m. – Disturbance – 200 blk. Shady Hill Ln., Double Oak – Minor verbal disturbance between family members.

03-09-2014  6:13 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – 6000 blk. Pepperport Ln., Double Oak – A resident reported and unknown vehicle, occupied by two people, parked on their street for an unusual amount of time.  Further investigation revealed that one of the occupants was a young resident visiting with a friend.

03-10-2014  9:41 p.m. – Suspicious Persons – 100 blk. Whistling Duck, Double Oak – Caller reported two unknown teen males standing on her porch.  Both males departed when occupant advised she was calling the police.  Neither young man was located.

03-12-2014  8:27 a.m. – Stranded Motorist Assist – 700 Simmons, Double Oak.

03-12-2014  4:44 p.m. – Public Assist – 200 blk. Double Oaks Dr., Double Oak.  Resident left town and accidentally left water to pool running.

03-12-2014  9:02 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 8100 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak.  Concerns voiced by a resident that the construction zone signage was creating a hazardous condition.  Barricades were adjusted.

03-14-2014  2:17 a.m. – Evading Arrest – 300 blk. Squirrel Run Rd., Argyle – DOPD (and other agencies) assisted Argyle PD with searching for an adult male who had fled the police during a traffic stop.  Subject was not located.

03-14-2014  12:58 p.m. – Open Residence – 400 blk. Cross Timbers, Double Oak – A resident reported their neighbors house to be unsecure.  Bartonville assisted Double Oak with clearing the residence.  No criminal activity was detected.

03-14-2014  4:29 p.m. – Accident – FM407 at Branch Crossing, Bartonville – Motor vehicle collision.

03-14-2014  5:15 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Whistling Duck, Double Oak.

03-16-2014  8:35 a.m. – Alarm – 1200 blk. Saddlebrook, Bartonville.

03-18-2014  3:10 a.m. – Alarm with open window. – 8300 blk. Navasota, Lantana. – Assisted Sheriff’s Deputy, who needed a cover unit for officer safety reasons, with searching an open residence.

03-18-2014  9:30 a.m. – Found Dog – 400 blk. Simmons, Double Oak – A motorist reported a stray dog on Simmons.  Officer found the black and white dog, took it to Town Hall, couldn’t find an owner and subsequently turned the dog over to animal services.

03-18-2014  11:40 a.m. – Traffic Complaint – 300 blk. Lake Trail Ct., Double Oak – Construction trailer parked the wrong way and obstructing traffic.

03-19-2014  7:40 a.m. – Medical Assist – 400 blk. E. Jeter Rd., Bartonville – Officer responded to a medical emergency call.

03-19-2014  10:33 a.m. – Traffic Complaint – 300 blk. Oakview, Double Oak – Unknown person damaged homeowner’s lawn by driving over their property leaving tire marks.

03-19-2014  2:23 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 7700 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – A person not involved with the road work on FM407 parked their vehicle in the construction zone.  Owner was notified by phone and the car was moved.

03-19-2014  2:41 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 100blk. Tanglewood, Double Oak – Concerns expressed by resident about motorists not stopping for traffic control devices at Simmons and Tanglewood now that FM407 East bound had been reopened.  Officers observed multiple near collisions due to E/B FM407 being open but people not stopping.  Squad cars were placed near the intersections and additional signage announcing the opening was posted.

03-21-2014  11:45 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – 100 blk. Trailing Oaks Dr., Double Oak – A resident reported a vehicle cruising their neighborhood with no lights on.  Motorist departed before officer arrival.

03-22-2014  8:05 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 200 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Multiple calls about a white horse running loose and in danger of being struck by a car.  Neighbors located the horse and returned it home.

03-24-2014  1:06 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Creekside, Double Oak.

03-25-2014  11:20 a.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – 100 blk. Fox Trot, Double Oak – Resident observed a vehicle cruising through their neighborhood.  Motorist left before officer arrival.

03-26-2014  9:39 a.m. – Injured Dog – 300 blk. Valley View Trl., Double Oak – A concerned resident reported a large black and white injured dog.  Upon arrival officer found the dog’s owner loading him into a truck.  The dog was injured, just elderly.

03-27-2014  10:35 a.m. – Theft – 100 blk. Thornhill Circle, Double Oak – An unknown person took a mailbox without permission. 

03-28-2014  12:12 a.m. – Assist Agency (Argyle)  – 400 blk. US377., Argyle. DOPD Officer provided cover officer assistance during a vehicle search.

03-29-2014  7:24 a.m. – Noise Complaint –  200 blk. Valley View, Double Oak.

03-30-2014  2:18 a.m. – Shots Fired – 200 blk. Oak Trail, Double Oak – Report of gun shots fired.  Officer unable to find source of the noise.

04-01-2014  7:10 a.m. – Animal Complaint – 400 blk.
Cross Timbers, Double Oak – A citizen reported that, while running, his dog was attacked by another dog that was running loose.  Officer made contact with the other dog’s owner.

04-01-2014  12:30 p.m. – Reckless Driver – 8100 blk. FM407, Double Oak – Double Oak Patrol Officer responded to complaints about a reckless driver.  A Bartonville Police Officer stopped the suspect vehicle in Bartonville and subsequently arrested the passenger for possession of narcotics.

04-01-2014  5:00 p.m. – Suspicious Vehicle – 300 blk. Cross Timbers, Double Oak – Vehicle abandoned in front of a residence.  Officer was unable to locate the owner or driver and place vehicle on a 48hr. notification prior to towing.

04-02-2014  5:35 p.m. – Alarm – 8100 blk. FM 407, Double Oak – Accidental activation of alarm.

04-02-2014  12:40 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 300 blk. Cross Timbers, Double Oak – Dog running loose.

04-02-2014  1:49 p.m. – Welfare Concern – 6000 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak.  Officer dispatched to check on welfare of a child.

04-03-2014  7:19 p.m. – Criminal Mischief – 500 blk. Oak Wood, Bartonville – A known person shot the Complainant’s windshield with a B.B. gun causing damage.

04-04-2014  12:05 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 200 blk. Green Ridge Dr., Double Oak – Complainant’s dog was scratched and sprayed by a skunk.  Animal services was notified.

04-05-2014  9:43 p.m. – 911 Hang up – 100 blk. Oak Grove Circle, Double Oak.

04-05-2014  10:47 p.m. – Suspicious Activity – 100 blk. High View Dr., Double Oak.  A witness reported an unknown female running down the street carrying a bag, and following a red Ford Explorer driving without lights.

04-07-2014  8:50 a.m. – Telephone Harassment – 200 blk. S. Carruth, Double Oak.

04-07-2014  12:27 p.m. – Vehicle Complaint – 200 blk. Double Oaks Dr., Double Oak.  A car hauler slipped off the road and got stuck in a resident’s front yard.  With the help of a neighbor the car hauler was pulled out of the yard.

04-10-2014  1:54 a.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Meadowknoll Dr., Double Oak.

04-10-2014  8:56 a.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Double Oaks Dr., Double Oak.

04-10-2014  11:10 a.m. – Disturbance – 8300 blk. FM 407, Double Oak.  Dispute about a civil issue that resulted in a criminal trespass warning being issued by the property owner.

04-10-2014  3:09 p.m. – Theft – 6000 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – A resident reported that his dog may have been stolen.  Upon further investigation the dog was found at a nearby location by the reporting officer.

04-10-2014  5:18 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 4800 blk. Lusk Ln., Double Oak – Officer found two loose horses and remained with them until the owner arrived.

04-10-2014  7:09 p.m. – Fraud – 200 blk. Oak Trail, Double Oak – An unknown person called the complainant claiming that they had an arrest warrant for her and that she needed to make a payment.  Resident refused to provide any information and then contacted the police.

04-10-2014  11:43 p.m. – Criminal Mischief – 200 blk. Hill Court, Double Oak – A homeowner reported that the back window of their house had been damaged within the past few days.

04-11-2014  10:49 a.m. – Welfare Check – 100 blk. Villa Creek Ln., Double Oak – A concerned guardian had police check on the welfare of a young man.

04-11-2014  12:11 p.m. – Missing Animals – 200 blk. Meadowknoll, Double Oak – A resident reported that she was missing two dogs. 

04-12-2014  4:50 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Twin Lakes, Double Oak.

04-13-2014  5:13 p.m. – Medical Emergency – 2600 blk. FM 407, Bartonville – Double Oak Officer responded to report of a person who required medical assistance.

04-13-2014  10:07 p.m. – Arrest – 600 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – A motorist was stopped and it was determined he was wanted for traffic warrants issued by multiple agencies.  Subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Flower Mound Police Department jail.

04-13-2014  9:31 a.m. – Noise Complaint – 200 blk. South Carruth Ln., Double Oak – Caller reported a loud noise.
