The Marcus girls soccer team has lived to fight another day with a 1-0 victory Friday evening against Waco Midway at Midlothian.
Natalie Schmutz scored the Lady Marauders goal in the game to get the Marcus the area round win.
Marcus (21-3-1) will play the winner of the Mansfield/Coppell game at a time and date to be determined.
