I have been a tad tardy requesting people to give me their aluminum cans, so here goes. Most of you know I crush the cans and sell them; the money goes to the Double Oak Volunteer Fire Department. I pull the tabs and save them to sell and the money goes to the Shriners Burns Hospital in Galveston. If you cannot bring them to my house (45 Kings Road in Double Oak) I will pick them up. My phone number is 817-430-4922. I do have some people that have been so faithful in dropping them off and I appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for helping support both of these wonderful organizations. What would we do without our Volunteer Fire Department and the wonderful work the Burns Hospital does without any charge to the patients?
