District 8-5A mixed doubles tennis champions Kyle Barnes and Madison Carr from Marcus High School in Flower Mound placed second at the UIL Regional tournament in Lubbock last week.
Carr and Barnes won 5 out of 6 matches. Their only loss came from the number one seed Southlake Carroll.
The pair will advance to the UIL 5A State tennis tournament in Austin on April 30th.
