Crews douse grass fire near church

The Flower Mound Fire Department quickly extinguished a grass fire Sunday afternoon at a church on the corner of College and Kirkpatrick. Photographer Kevin Loeffler said that the blaze scorched an area 150 by 100 feet and firefighters had it under control in about 10 minutes.
