Special transitional meetings for all eighth-grade Denton ISD students and their parents will start at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Guyer, Denton and Ryan high schools.
The purpose is to help parents and their eighth-graders learn more about high school programs.
Presentations on high school enrollment procedures will be given at 7 p.m. for parents. Participants will be able to talk to teachers, organization sponsors and coaches. There will be school counselors, teachers and administrators available to answer questions. The various high school clubs and organizations will host informational booths
The event is part of the district’s ‘Education – Go Get It!’ initiative.
