Studio B Performing Arts Center in Highland Village will present the holiday classic, ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ on stage Dec. 4, 5, 6, and 11, 12, 13.

The tale, suitable for all ages, follows the awakening of the very ordinary George Bailey (made popular by actor James Stewart), who seems down and hopeless. That is until his guardian angel, Clarence, descends from the heavens to show George just how important his life really is to his family and loved ones. It is only then that George discovers happiness, and helps Clarence earn his angel wings.

“We are proud to support local writers for this show,” said DeAnna McDearmont, Managing Director of Studio B.

“The music composer, Bruce Greer, was a Flower Mound resident when the script was written. The script was written by Keith Ferguson, a Dallas native.”

The cast includes Blake Copsey as George Bailey, Maddie Webber as Mary Bailey, Scott McDearmont as Clarence the Angel, and Roger Bach as Mr. Potter.

Tickets for Studio B’s presentation are on sale now. Times are 7:30 on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:30 on Sundays. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students and $10 for children 10 and under. Reserved seating tickets are on sale up to 48 hours before the show opens.
