The Marcus softball team avenged Thursday night’s 2-0 loss to Mansfield Timberview with a 12-0 defeat of the Lady Wolves that featured shutout pitching by Hannah Null.
The Lady Marauders’ offense was able to solve Timberview freshman ace pitcher Mariah Denson this time around, collecting 11 hits including doubles by Madison Greenwell, Bonna Molina and Jordan Gundersen. Marcus also committed only one error.
The area-round series will go to a deciding Game 3, to be played tomorrow at 7:15 p.m. at Brewer High School.
