Sakshat Puri, a senior at Flower Mound High School, is inviting the community to a new event to do some good, the Flower Mound Community Pickleball Tournament.
The doubles tournament, scheduled for Nov. 4 in the Bridlewood community, is open to all ages and skill levels. Snacks and drinks will be provided, but players will need to bring their own paddles. The entry fee is $15 per player, and all proceeds will be used to purchase supplies for Our Daily Bread, a homeless shelter in Denton.
