Construction began Monday to repair water damage caused by roof leaks in the Highland Village Municipal Complex rotunda, according to a news release from the city.

The main entrance to administrative services will be closed throughout the construction period, which is expected to take three to four weeks, according to the city. Administrative services will be accessible through the entrance on the west side of the Municipal Complex, 1000 Highland Village Road. The Highland Village Police Department will still be accessible through the main rotunda entrance.

Residents will still be able to drop off batteries for recycling at the west entrance while construction continues. The prescription drop-off program is suspended for six weeks, according to the city.
