Roanoke adding several new restaurants

Several new restaurants have opened in Roanoke, with more coming soon.

Anton’s African Cuisine opened this summer at 610 Byron Nelson Blvd., Suite 109.

Doc’s Street Grill, a Caribbean restaurant, opened this summer at 200 James St.

Strumolo’s, a family-style Italian restaurant, opened in early August at 310 South Oak St., Suite 108.

Chipotle Mexican Grill opened a new location at 1347 Hwy 377 in late August. The new fast casual restaurant is the first Chipotle in North Texas to have a drive-through lane.

Kilwins, a chocolate shop, is planning to open in October at 400 South Oak St., Suite 140.

Soul Fire Brewing Co. is planning to open in October at 206 North Oak St., in the space formerly occupied by the Plaid Peacock. There will be a handful of food spots inside, similar to a food court, according to the city of Roanoke.
