The town of Flower Mound will offer a free Septic System Fundamentals Class next week for local homeowners with a septic tank.
The town’s Environmental Health Department will conduct the class from 9-10:30 a.m. on May 4 at the Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road, according to a news release from the town. The class will offer basic information on how septic systems work, maintenance tips, the permitting process, what to do if your system is failing, the difference between aerobic and anaerobic systems and more. Refreshments will also be provided.
