The Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees approved its $498.5 million budget and tax rate for fiscal year 2019 Monday night, one that includes $34.5 million for the “Robin Hood” recapture program.

Despite this new payment, expenditures are only up $32.4 million overall, which is in line with recent years.

Revenues are up by almost $33 million, which is much more than the least year’s increase.

The tax rates will remain steady, with maintenance and operations holding at $1.04 and interest and sinking at $0.3675, for a combined tax rate of $1.4075 per $100 in taxable property value.
