Flower Mound Police Calls – January 2015

fmpd_cruiser13The following is a list of recent police calls reported by the Flower Mound Police Department:

12-15 – Arrest – 2600 block of Flower Mound Road – A 37-year-old woman was taken into custody in connection with a charge of driving while intoxicated, first offense.

12-15 – Arrest – 1200 block of Lakeside Parkway – A 36-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with charges of theft of property less than $1,500 and driving while license suspended, previous conviction/suspension.

12-16 – Theft over $50 and under $500 – 600 block of Gentry Lane – A resident reported a wooden carving valued at an estimated $120 was taken from the home.

12-17 – Arrest – 2600 block of Flower Mound Road – A 17-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with charges of theft under $50 and public intoxication under 21 years of age.

12-17 – Theft over $1,500 and under $20,000 – 4900 block of Timber Creek Road – A resident told police that a known juvenile took $5,202 in cash from the resident. According to the report, the cash was recovered the following day.

12-18 – Theft of Firearm – 1900 block of Buckeye Drive – A resident reported that a known suspect removed a number of firearms from the home including a .38 special Smith & Wesson revolver valued at $400, a .38 special Smith & Wesson revolver valued at $300, a .357 magnum Smith & Wesson revolver valued at $400, a 9 mm Taurus handgun valued at $450, a 9 mm Taurus handgun valued at $450 and a Daisy pellet gun valued at $120.

12-18 – Theft under $50 – 500 block of Landwyck Lane – A resident reported someone took an item valued at $1.

12-18 – Arrest – 2100 block of Long Prairie Road – A 17-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with charges of burglary of habitation, theft over $20,000 and under $100,000 and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

12-19 – Arrest – 2000 block of Long Prairie Road – A 21-year-old woman was taken into custody in connection with several charges including driving while intoxicated, first offense, an outstanding warrant for speeding and an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.

12-19 – Arrest – 4100 block of Kirkpatrick Lane – A 24-year-old woman was taken into custody in connection with a charge from an outstanding warrant for theft over $50 and under $500.

12-19 – Arrest – 1100 block of Cross Timbers Road – A 17-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

12-19 – Arrest – 1100 block of Cross Timbers Road – A 17-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

12-19 – Theft over $1,500 and under $20,000 – 1900 block of Long Prairie Road – An employee of a bicycle shop told police a known suspect took three bicycles with a total value of an estimated $7,500.

12-20 – Theft of Property over $500 and under $1,500 – 900 block of Summer Trail – An individual reported to police that someone took $739.50 in cash from them.

12-20 – Criminal Mischief over $50 and under $500 – 2000 block of Cartwright Court – A resident reported damages to several holiday ornaments including an angel, deer and a present. Total value of the damages was estimated at $145.

12-20 – Theft over $50 and under $500 – 4400 block of Trotter Lane – An individual reported several items valued at an estimated $154.97 were taken from a residence.

12-21 – Arrest – 4000 block of Willow Run Drive – A 30-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with charges from several outstanding warrants including disorderly conduct from the Denton Police Department, two traffic violations from the Lewisville Police Department and speeding and no driver’s license from the Irving Police Department.

12-21 – Theft over $1,500 and under $20,000 – 5400 block of Rawlings Street – A resident reported $1,700 in cash was taken from a home.

12-21 – Criminal Mischief over $50 and under $500 – 2300 block of Pinehurst Drive – A resident reported someone caused an estimated $160 worth of damage at the home.

12-22 – Criminal Mischief over $50 and under $500 – 5600 block of Suncreek Path – A resident reported someone caused an estimated $100 worth of damage at the home.

12-22 – Criminal Mischief over $50 and under $500 – 1700 block of Newton Drive – A resident reported someone caused an estimated $150 worth of damage at the home.

12-22 – Theft over $50 and under $500 – 3600 block of Tinsdale Drive – A resident reported to police that someone took four FMHS signs valued at $40 each for an estimated total of $160.

12-22 – Arrest – 4800 block of Hanover Drive – A 30-year-old woman was taken into custody in connection with assault causing bodily injury/family violence as well as an outstanding warrant including theft by check over $20 and under $500 from the Denton County Sheriff’s Office.

12-22 – Arrest – 7300 block of Northeast Loop 820 in North Richland Hills – A 17-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with an outstanding warrant on a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor from the Flower Mound Police Department.

12-23 – Arrest – 5800 block of Long Prairie Road – A 51-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with four charges of forgery of a financial instrument and a charge of failure to identify/fugitive/intent to give false information as well as several outstanding warrants including: forgery, evading arrest/detention and failure to identify/fugitive/intent to give false information from the Bell County Sheriff’s Office; a driving while licenses supended previous conviction/suspension out of the Hood County Sheriff’s Office; no driver’s license and no liability insurance from the Arlington Police Department; and parole violation from the Austin Parole Division.

12-23 – Arrest – 5800 block of Long Prairie Road – A 49-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with four charges of forgery of a financial instrument and a warrant for expired registration out of the Everman Police Department.

12-23 – Arrest – 500 block of Gerault Road – A 44-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

12-23 – Theft over $50 and under $500 – 3400 block of Ridgecrest Drive – A resident reported a known suspect took an item valued at $350 from the residence.

12-23 – Criminal Mischief over $50 and under $500 – 1800 block of Park View Drive – A resident reported someone damaged a light string and reindeer in front of the house, causing an estimated $80 in damages.

12-23 – Theft over $50 and under $500 – 3300 block of Cross Timbers Road – A resident reported someone took a cell phone valued at an estimated $299.

12-24 – Arrest – 500 block of Newport Drive – A 17-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of assault causing bodily injury/family violence.

12-24 – Arrest – 3500 block of Dresage Court – A 20-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with two outstanding warrants from the Lewisville Police Department including the manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance greater than 1 gram and less than 4 grams and delivery/manufacture of marijuana between a quarter of an ounce to five lbs. and a charge of prohibitive substance in a correctional facility by the Flower Mound Police Department.

12-24 – Theft over $1,500 and under $20,000 – An individual told police that someone took a ring valued at an estimated $15,000 from a commercial office building.

12-26 – Arrest – 5300 block of Gregory Drive – A 26-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of the second assault/family violence with injury in 12 months.

12-26 – Theft of Property over $500 and under $1,500 – 600 block of Enterprise – An individual reported someone took an item worth an estimated $1,000 from a vehicle in a parking lot/garage.
12-26 – Criminal Mischief under $50 – 2400 block of Mapleleaf Lane – A resident reported someone caused $45 worth of damages at the residence.

12-26 – Burglary of Vehicle – 3100 block of Churchill Drive – An individual reported someone took several items from a vehicle including two purses worth an estimated $300 total, about $200 in cash and several credit cards. An estimated $1,500 worth of damages were caused to the vehicle, according to the report.

12-27 – Arrest – 3600 block of Grapevine Mills Parkway – A 22-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of possession of marijuana under 2 ounces.

12-27 – Arrest – 2800 block of Saint Andrews Drive – A 22-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram and two outstanding warrants from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office on possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram.

12-28 – Arrest – 4500 block of Long Prairie Road – A 53-year-old woman was taken into custody in connection with a charge of public intoxication.

12-28 – Arrest – 700 block of Teakwood Drive – A 29-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of public intoxication.

12-28 – Arrest – 700 block of Teakwood Drive – A 25-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a charge of public intoxication.

12-28 – Criminal Mischief over $50 and under $500 – 1100 block of Homestead Drive – A resident reported a known suspect caused damages to a vehicle.

12-29 – Criminal Mischief over $500 and under $1,500 – 3100 block of Churchill Drive – An individual reported a known suspect caused damages to a vehicle in a parking lot/garage.

12-29 – Criminal Mischief over $500 and under $1,500 – 2600 block of Winnpage Road – A resident reported someone caused damages to a door worth an estimated $500 at the home.

12-29 – Arrest – 5800 block of Long Prairie Road – A 26-year-old woman was taken into custody in connection with a charge of theft of property over $500 and under $1,500 and an outstanding warrant for forgery/financial instrument from the Denton County Sheriff’s Office.

12-30 – Theft over $50 and under $500 – 3400 block of Harris Road – An individual reported than a cell phone valued at an estimated $240 was taken while she was at a grocery/supermarket. The phone was recovered, according to reports.

12-30 – Criminal Mischief over $500 and under $1,500 – 6200 Long Prairie Road – An individual at a restaurant reported someone vandalized an item valued at an estimated $1,000 from their vehicle.

12-31 – Theft of Property over $500 and Under $1,500/Unauthorized Use of Vehicle – 2800 block of Saint Andrews Drive – A resident reported a known suspect took two purses valued at a total of $650 and a radio valued at $550. In addition, a $5,000 2001 Ford was reported stolen from the residence.
