During an update at the Flower Mound Town Council Monday, Realty Capital with Lakeside DFW announced several family-owned restaurants and other businesses expected to begin opening in the first half of 2015.

Located at Lakeside Parkway and FM 2499, The Shops at Lakeside will include a mix of restaurants, entertainment, outdoor dining, retail and neighborhood services.

An estimated 76 percent of just more than 90,000 square feet of commercial property has been leased to date.

The development had already announced the Moviehouse & Eatery dine-in movie theater, which is currently under construction.

The restaurants are all family-owned, officials said.

Carvao Prime Brazilian Steakhouse offers 14 cuts of fire-roasted meats and served the traditional Brazilian Way. The eatery also offers a salad bar with more than 20 items from smoked salmon to hearts of palm, artichoke and fresh mozzarella.
