Local groups and residents are being asked to join in on the first Flower Mound night-time Christmas parade, which is slated to begin at 5:30 p,m. Dec. 6.
The parade route will follow Spinks Road from Shadow Ridge Middle School to Gerault Park, where a tree lighting ceremony is scheduled to take place.
The town’s holiday ceremony will also include choir performances, pictures with Santa Claus, carriage rides, a snow hill, a petting zoo, vendors, kids’ activities, food trucks on site and more.
The parade will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the tree lighting ceremony and activities, which will end at 9 p.m.
