Argyle 72, Carrollton Ranchview 42
The undefeated Argyle Eagles continued their win streak Thursday at Standridge Stadium in the District 6-4A (l) game against the Carrollton Ranchview Wolves.
In the first quarter of the game, the two teams took turns putting their marks on the scoreboard to keep it tight before Argyle began pulling ahead in the second quarter. At halftime, the score was 42-28.
Though Carrollton Ranchview continued to score each quarter, Argyle broadened the gap with multiple touchdowns to bring the final score to 72-42.
The Eagles, to date, top the national averages almost across the board including passing yards, tackles, sacks and points per game.
The Argyle Eagles next face Wilmer-Hutchins in a home game that begins at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 17.
