Flower Mound 6, Southlake Carroll 4
The Jaguars won their first game in a three game Class 5A Region I semifinal series against Southlake on Thursday night, defeating the Dragons 6-4 at Flower Mound High School.
Kyle Johnston earned the victory for the Jags in the game.
Flower Mound and Carroll will square off in game two at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Southlake.
Argyle 5, Texarkana Pleasant Grove 3
The Eagles took game one against Texarkana Pleasant Grove on Thursday night, moving one step closer to a berth in the state tournament.
Hunter Markwardt earned the victory in the game for the Eagles, and Markwardt and Cutter McDonald both doubled in the game.
Game two will be played at 7 p.m. on Friday at Northeast Texas Community College.
