Army dad reads to Lantana students from Afghanistan

E.P. Rayzor Elementary in Lantana had a special volunteer participate in its campus Watch DOGS (Dads Of Great Students) program on Wednesday.

Lt. Beau McNeff, a member of the 915th U.S. Army Forward Surgical Team, was a virtual Watch DOGS volunteer through Apple’s FaceTime video chat app as he talked and read to the students from Jalalabad Airfield in Afghanistan.

Pictured are McNeff’s daughter, kindergartner Elena McNeff, and her teacher, Katie Jones, as he reads the class a Dr. Seuss book.
