Marcus (2-5) survived a late surge by Lewisville (1-6) and prevailed in the annual Battle of the Axe game by the score of 24-21 at Marauder Stadium.
Guyer (5-2) cruised to a 63-13 win over Lake Dallas (3-4) Friday at Falcon Stadium. Guyer’s Richard Whitaker ran for 141 yards and scored 3 TD’s.
Argyle (6-1) pummeled Ranchview (1-7), 56-0.
Flower Mound (3-4) visited Coppell (7-0) and came up short, falling 27-18.
Liberty Christian (5-2) made it look easy with a win over John Paul II (1-6), 51-21.
