Two adults and one juvenile were arrested in Lantana early Wednesday morning on suspicion of burglarizing vehicles in Denton.
Double Oak Police Officer Blake Ringberg responded to the 8400 block of Marsh St. in Lantana’s Sandlin neighborhood around midnight Wednesday after receiving a request for assistance from the City of Denton Police.
Upon arrival, Officer Ringberg observed a grey Honda occupied by three males that was alleged to be involved in multiple car burglaries in Denton.
After making a traffic stop, officers found purses, personal identification, credit cards, and electronics in the vehicle that did not belong to the occupants.
An 18-year-old man from Lantana, a 17-year-old man from Denton, and a juvenile male were arrested and charged with engaging in organized criminal activity involving burglary of motor vehicles.
This marks the second arrest this week of suspected vehicle burglars.
Highland Village police nabbed two brothers on Sunday for breaking into cars in that city and possibly other areas nearby.
There are ongoing investigations into multiple car burglaries in Lantana, Double Oak, Copper Canyon and Highland Village.
