Argyle High School senior and Class 3A boys singles state tennis champion, Zack Santagate, (center) signed Friday with Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX.
Santagate, who will be pursuing a marketing degree and obtaining a pilot license, said he is excited about Midwestern and playing for coach Scott Linn.
Linn has enjoyed a distinguished 15-year coaching career and was named United State Professional Tennis Association Coach of the Year in 2008. He spent the last three seasons as the top assistant of the men’s tennis program at Indiana University, helping the Hoosiers to three-straight winning campaigns.
