Flower Mound Police and Fire Personnel responded to an accident involving a bicyclist and an car Wednesday in the 2000 block of Kirkpatrick Lane.
Police said that 17-year-old Phillip Odom was struck by a sedan while riding his bicycle on Kirkpatrick Lane after exiting a private parking lot.
Jacob Pearce, 18, was driving a 1992 Oldsmobile sedan west on Kirkpatrick Lane when the accident occurred.
Flower Mound Fire Department Personnel transported Odom by ambulance to Parkland hospital in serious but stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
