Mr. and Mrs. Luke Tefft were married August 14th at Chapelle des Fleurs in Flower Mound, with the Reverend Matt Chandler officiating.
The bride is the former Caroline Jane Perez, daughter of Mary Alice Boren of Dallas, and John D. Perez of Garland. The bridegroom is the son of Jo Lynn and Gary Tefft of Flower Mound.
Matron of Honor was Holly Perez Rogers, of Grapevine, sister of the bride. Best Man was Burt Young of Flower Mound. Ring bearer was Noah Rogers, and Grace Calverley, served as flower girl. Toward the end of the ceremony, Cathy Fliedner read passages from Romans 12.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white tulle MoriLee trumpet-style gown, featuring a silver jewel-beaded bodice, with a scalloped tulle flounce and train.
Caroline Perez Tefft was a 2002 graduate of North Garland High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader. She is currently attending The University of North Texas, studying kinesiology, nutrition, and sports medicine prep.
Luke Tefft was a 1999 graduate of Marcus High School, Flower Mound, and excelled in both baseball and football. In 1997, the Marcus Marauders were 5A, Division II State Champs. Luke received his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of North Texas in kinesiology in 2007. He is currently employed by Lifetime Fitness as a personal trainer.
Following a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple will reside in Flower Mound.
