Texas United States Senatorial candidates Ted Cruz, Tom Leppert (pictured left), Elizabeth Ames Jones, and Lela Pittenger will address the monthly meeting of the Denton County Republican Party on Thursday, July 21. The candidates will be speaking on current issues facing the nation.
“We are proud to welcome the senatorial candidates to Denton County.” said Denton County Republican Party Chairman Dianne Edmondson.
“As the most conservative county in our great state of Texas, we are always looking for ways to give voters the tools they need to make informed decisions. This is a valuable opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their views on the issues.”
To accommodate the large crowd that is expected, the DCRP meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Lakeland Baptist Church located at 397 S. Stemmons Freeway (I-35 E), Lewisville, Texas 75067. The meeting will be called to order promptly at 7:00 p.m.
Immediately prior to the meeting at 6:00 p.m., there will be a social hour for meeting attendees hosted by Denton County Sheriff Benny Parkey.
Both the social hour and the meeting are open to all interested Republicans.
