Forest Vista Elementary in Flower Mound held its annual Chili Cook-Off on Tuesday and cooked up donations for a good cause.
There was a new theme this year, as all dads competed against Forest Vista principal, Dr. Patrick Schott.
Judges included Forestwood Middle School principal David Tickner and Flower Mound EMS Chief Kevin Trimble and his crew.
In order to participate in the tastings, $1 spoons were being sold with all profits being donated to Dress To Learn, a partnership with the LISD Council of PTA’s and Communities in Schools of North Texas that benefits LISD students in need of basic clothing items.
The event raised over $150 for Dress To Learn.
