12:32 p.m. 400 blk. Kings Rd. – Pedestrian In The Roadway – A concerned citizen reported kids endangering themselves by playing in the roadway. Officer spoke to involved children and they departed.
February 2
1:12 p.m. 400 blk. Waketon Rd. – Assist Motorist – Officer provided traffic control while motorist was pulled out of the ditch by a passerby with a four wheel drive vehicle.
2:11 p.m. 500 blk. Kings Rd. – Assist Motorist – Officer assist with changing tire on a pickup truck that had broken its wheel in a culvert.
3:03 p.m. 100 blk. Kings Rd. – Assist Motorist – Officer assisted a stranded motorist.
8:30 p.m. 400 blk. Waketon Rd. – Traffic Accident / Abandoned Vehicle – Officer responded to a vehicle accident call. Upon arrival officer found a vehicle in the ditch and the driver had departed. A tow truck did recover the vehicle.
8:47 p.m. 400 blk. Cross Timbers Dr. – Assist Motorist – Van driver was stuck on the road due to ice. Officer stood by until the vehicle was removed from the roadway.
February 3
2:18 p.m. 7700 blk. FM 407 – Traffic Accident – Officer worked a motor vehicle collision.
9:45 p.m. 8100 blk. FM 407, Copper Canyon -Agency Assist – Double Oak Officer assisted Denton County Sheriff’s Office with an accident and drunk driving investigation.
February 4
12:17 a.m. 300 blk.. Whispering Oaks Drive – Traffic Accident – Officer responded to a once car collision in which the motorist struck a tree.
12:43 a.m. 300 blk. Valley View Trl. – Suspicious Circumstances – Homeowner was afraid that an adult male was outside their residence. Bartonville PD assisted with searching for the subject. No one was found at the location.
February 6
1:45 p.m. 100 blk. Simmons Rd. – Assist Fire Department – Officer was dispatched to a motorist having breathing difficulties. Fire Department transported the adult male to a local hospital.
February 7
9:42 p.m. 6000 blk. FM 407 – Assist Agency – Officer was dispatched regarding the driver of a red Chevy Camaro driving in an unsafe manner. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
