The Town of Flower Mound Parks Department is offering free Christmas tree recycling between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Jan. 9 at Gerault Park, 1200 Gerault Road.
Trees can also be dropped off in a designated area after hours at this same location. The trees cannot be flocked and all decorations and nails must be removed. Lumber and trash will not be accepted.
Residents who would like mulch are encouraged to bring their own containers.
