Parker College of Chiropractic held a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday celebrating the opening their new state-of-the-art Wellness Center in Parker Square.
Flower Mound Mayor Melissa Northern, members of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, Parker executives as well as students, staff, and faculty, and members of the community attended the event.
The new 5,836-square-foot center at 1190 Parker Square features the latest in practice design and technology, including private adjusting rooms, passive and active therapy, a patient education room, x-rays, nutritional counseling, a supplement store, and more. The center also offers Parker student interns a real world experience that will prepare them to open and build successful practices.
“We are so happy to be in Flower Mound,” said Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College. “We are excited to provide chiropractic care and support the community in leading healthier, happier lives just as so many of our other patients in the Dallas area do.”
Kent Greenawalt, president and CEO of Foot Levelers Inc., was also in attendance. Foot Levelers, a leading provider of custom-made orthotics, donated funds to the active care area in the center.
The center will be led by Doctors Keith Johnson and Daniel Kurth. Dr. Johnson is a current resident of Flower Mound who practiced in the community for over 25 years before joining Parker College. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Kurth practiced in both Denver and Iowa before moving his family to Dallas, where he has been a member of the Parker team since 1997.
