5:52 p.m. 7900 blk. Justin Rd., Denton Cnty. – Agency Assist – Officer drove up on a two car accident and notified TXDPS. Officer remained on scene for traffic control until the completion of the investigation.
9:38 p.m. 600 blk. Chinn Chapel, Double Oak – Welfare Check – Concerned citizen contacted police about elderly person in the road. Officer made contact with all involved parties and ensured that no person was in danger.
July 24
10:04 a.m. 300 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – Traffic Control – Concerned citizen reported “people holding up traffic” on Waketon Rd. Officer spoke to the involved parties and took no further action.
July 25
12:37 a.m. 5000 blk. FM 407, Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Argyle P.D. with reckless driver traffic stop and discovery of suspected drug paraphernalia and alcohol in the vehicle.
2:20 a.m. 1600 blk. Leesly Ln., Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Argyle P.D. with reckless driver investigation.
9:31 p.m. 200 blk. Green Oak Dr., Bartonville – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Bartonville P.D. with investigation into a verbal disturbance.
July 26
5:31 a.m. 500 blk. Hwy 377, Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Argyle P.D. with arrest from a traffic stop.
3:22 p.m. 100 blk. Tanglewood, Double Oak – Solicitor Complaint – Concerned citizen notified P.D. about a solicitor. Officer made contact with the solicitor who decided to leave town because he did not have a permit.
July 27
2:45 a.m. 100 blk. FM 407, Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Argyle PD with DWI investigation.
12:50 p.m. 7700 blk. FM 407, Double Oak – Warrants Only Arrest – Double Oak Officer arrested motorist wanted out of another City and driving on a suspended license.
July 28
12:04 p.m. 100 blk. Valley View Trl. – Found Dog – Officer assisted citizen in an attempt to locate a dog’s owner.
7:06 p.m. 8000 blk. FM407 – Alarm Call – Officer responded to alarm call and secured facility after attempting to contact the owner.
July 29
8:14 a.m. 300 blk. Oakview Dr. – Animal At Large – Citizen, who had been jogging, reported being chased by a brown boxer dog. Officer made contact with the dog’s owner and explained that the dog needed to be kept on their property.
9:10 a.m. 300 blk. Oakview Dr. – Parking Violation – Concerned citizen reported unlawful parking of diesel truck in neighborhood. Officer made contact with the driver’s spouse and requested that town ordinances be followed.
2:21 p.m. 500 blk. Kings Rd. – 911 Hangup – Officers responded to location and determined that there was no criminal activity present.
July 30
10:48 p.m. 100 blk. Simmons Rd. – Stranded Motorist – Officer checked on welfare of motorist who had a smoking vehicle.
11:08 p.m. 200 blk. Westover Dr., Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer responded to assist Argyle with a shots fired call. Upon arrival the shooter was identified and it was determined to have been an accidental discharge.
July 31
12:50 p.m. 8900 blk. Cedar Ridge, Lantana – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Denton County Sheriff’s Dept on alarm call. Marketing manager found on scene without alarm code.
1:23 p.m. 100 blk. Pheasant Run Rd., Canyon Oaks – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Denton County Sheriff’s Dept. on alarm call. Residence determined to be secure.
2:16 p.m. 100 blk. Leesly Ln., Bartonville – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer responded to alarm call in Bartonville. Residence was secure.
7:30 p.m. 200 blk. Simmons Rd. – Suspicious Person – Concerned citizen reported a suspicious person who made a comment about stealing his Mustang. Upon further investigation the suspicious person was determined to be a vendor with poor sales technique trying to be humorous.
August 1
12:42 a.m. 100 blk. Kings Rd. – Welfare Check – Caller concerned about the welfare of a citizen. Upon investigation it was determined that everything was okay.
1:49 a.m. 100 blk. FM 407, Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer Assisted Argyle PD with DWI investigation.
10:32 a.m. 300 blk. Oakview Dr. – Criminal Mischief – Suspect damaged flag pole and bird feeder.
10:06 a.m. 200 blk. Twin Lakes Dr. – Criminal Mischief – Unknown person or persons damaged a mailbox.
5:40 p.m. 6000 blk. Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer dispatched to assist Flower Mound PD with attempt to locate a missing person.

2:02 a.m. 400 blk. Simmons Rd. – Criminal Mischief – Home owner reported unknown person or persons damaged mailbox.
