Non-profits honored at luncheon

Court Appointed Special Advocates of Denton County was named Non-Profit of the Year for 2009 on Tuesday at the annual “Unity in Communities” luncheon at Celebrations Grand Ballroom in Highland Village.

Over 250 people attended the event, which honored the many non-profit organizations serving southern Denton County.

The luncheon was hosted by the Highland Village Business Association, Flower Mound and Lewisville Chambers of Commerce, and Highland Village, Flower Mound and Lewisville Rotary Clubs; and was sponsored by United Community Bank.
