"Alex" expected to bring rain potential for DFW this weekend

Hurricane Alex seems to be following the more southerly route among the various computer models, according to the National Hurricane Center.

So it’s probably a long shot for the hurricane to pass directly over North Texas; however, the deep tropical moisture which accompanies the system will probably bring some rain to the Dallas-Fort Worth area this Holiday weekend.
