Students named to All State Choirs
Flower Mound High School had a record-setting eight students selected to the Texas All State Choirs, which performed at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention. Students selected include Nathan Goodrich, Ka’imi Ruberson, Megan Hoggarth, Chynna Walker, David Park, Krista Mitchell, Nicole Artzer and Miranda Stewart. Flower Mound High School senior Nathan Goodrich became the first four-year All-State Choir singer for LISD.

FMHS Choir to perform Pop Show
The Flower Mound High School Choral program will perform the annual Pop Show June 3 at 7 p.m. in the Jack and Donna Clark auditorium. This year’s musical will feature music from “Wicked” and the television show “Glee.” Tickets are available at the door and cost $12 – $15 for reserved seating and $8 for general admission.

LISD Education Foundation awards student scholarships
The LISD Education Foundation (LEF) awarded more than $115,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors at the annual Awards Ceremony. To view the complete list of scholarship recipients, click here.

Stadium lights to be tested
Construction crews will be testing the Marcus Stadium lights June 5 – 7, for 24 hours a day. This period is required to make the lights function correctly, school officials said. In the future, the lights will only be utilized during scheduled events.
