The Flower Mound Police Department and Fire Department are kicking-off the 2010 boating season Memorial Day weekend with lake patrols on Lake Grapevine.
Officers and safety personnel will conduct lake patrols in the town’s grant-funded 22-foot Boston Whaler to promote safe boating, including the use of life jackets, responsible alcohol consumption, and boater education.
Boaters are encouraged to call 9-1-1 to report any safety issues on Lake Grapevine.
