Republic Property Group announced Friday that a homebuilder has committed to building in a neighborhood where construction had temporarily stopped.
Carrollton-based LionsGate Homes will be building on 53 lots in the Isabel neighborhood.
The lots, formerly owned by a defunct builder, Sotherby Homes, make up the balance of the 50 foot lots in Isabel, according to Teresa Grawe, VP of Marketing at Republic Property Group.
LionsGate will begin construction soon on two spec homes as well as a 3,400 sq. ft. model home at the corner of Grant and Leland. The starting price of the homes will be from the $260’s.
“Every effort is being made by the builder to ensure the home designs and elevations complement the existing homes in Isabel,” said Grawe.
The remainder of the lot inventory in Isabel consists of 60 foot lots, and Republic hopes to announce an additional builder for these home sites in the near future, she added.
LionsGate Homes is in their third year of business, but the principals have more than 50 years of combined experience building custom homes.
