Politics in Flower Mound is a contact sport. At least that’s what I was told by one of the greatest citizens in the history of Flower Mound, John Thomas. This is my first political season and I can see that’s very true. Threats, verbal abuse, lies—Is this what we want from our Mayor and Town Council members? We need a level headed, experienced, and community driven Mayor as well as Council members. That’s exactly what Mayor Jody Smith, Gerald Robinson, and Bryan Webb are.
We are coming on critical times and this election could go a long way in determining the future of Flower Mound. We need fiscally conservative, environmentally responsible people leading our town. We most definitely do not need an inexperienced mayor, who might try to turn random roads into toll roads when faced with a challenging circumstance. We need a Town Council and Mayor who are going to stand up to adversity in our town, citizens who are going to unify our town through community service, people who are more interested in making Flower Mound the best town possible than thinking about what they do when they become project manager of 1171. Jody Smith, Gerald Robinson, and Bryan Webb are the best candidates to do what’s best for not only the Town of Flower Mound, but also for every citizen of Flower Mound.
