Rehabilitation hospital to break ground

Continuum Rehabilitation Hospital, a 41-bed freestanding inpatient facility located at 3100 Peters Colony in Flower Mound, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony this Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

Continuum will be a Part-A Medicare certified, licensed hospital specializing in rehabilitation, and provide comprehensive state-of-the-art services in a “four-star” setting to include all private rooms, concierge, spa, wellness services and a restaurant.
Outpatient therapy services will feature a large dedicated gym with state-of-the-art equipment, aquatic therapy, and cold and hot emersions baths for treatment of specific conditions.

Flower Mound’s agreement with Continuum was the first to be approved under the town’s revised Economic Development Incentive policy, which is designed to stimulate job creation and boost the local economy.

The facility, which should open this spring, is projected to generate 110 jobs and create several million dollars of additional tax base, according to town officials. The project is part of a growing interest in medical-related development near the new Presbyterian Hospital of Flower Mound, which is scheduled to open at the end of April.
