8:30 p.m. Shots Fired – 6000 Kings Rd. – Officer located three males firing homemade “potato gun”. Subjects ceased the activity after having spoken with police.
7:34 p.m. Return of Property – 6900 blk. Hawk Ln. – Recovered credit cards returned to owner.
10:24 p.m. Fire Call – 400 blk. Brown Cliff Ct. – Complainant concerned about embers blowing towards his house. Fire Department dispatched and they assisted with dousing the fire.
3:49 p.m. Arrest – 9300 blk. Lantana Trail – Officer arrested wanted person for other agency traffic warrant.
4:52 p.m. Fire Call – 400 blk. Brown Cliff Ct. – Complainant had smoke from brush fire entering his residence. Neighbor agreed to put out brush fire after being contacted by police officer.
2:57 p.m. Solicitor Complaint – 100 blk. Trailing Oaks – Resident observed individual being dropped off in a neighborhood who they believed was a solicitor without a permit. Officer made contact and explained solicitation ordinance and how to obtain a permit. The solicitor departed without attempting to make contact with any residents.
3:49 p.m. Assist Agency – 100 blk. Falcon Ct., Canyon Oaks – Double Oak Police Officers dispatched to assist Denton County Sheriff’s Deputy on family disturbance.
10:02 p.m. Assist Agency – 1100 blk. Powell Rd., Lantana – Double Oak Officer dispatched to assist Denton County Sheriff’s Deputy on family disturbance call. An adult female was taken into custody by DSCO for assaulting her spouse and was charged with Assault Family Violence.
